Kiso Susuki & Co made beautifully crafted replicas of Martin Guitars. This Kiso Susuki WE-200 is an almost perfect replica of the Martin D28 Guitar, using the exact same build techniques and quality materials. It’s a 1971 guitar according to the info I found online. I repaired some minor problems and put Elixir Nanoweb strings, and simply sounds amazing.

They called these guitars the “Lawsuit Era” guitars, because they were so well crafted and so similar to original Martin’s, that Martin & Co threatened with legal actions against the Japanese builders.
